7/14/2023 0 Comments Visit argentina airpassIs this typical - where Aerolineas charges it then not (typically I assume this is a banking thing - since hotels do this, but those posts withing 3-5 business days of when they placed the hold) Has anyone else had a similar experience as this. They stated that I did pay for it according to the rep and that the booking is still valid, so I am leaving it at that at this point. ![]() So I called Aerolineas again to see what happened and if my confirmation was still valid. So I called my bank and it looks like Aerolineas reversed the 'hold' or 'transaction' and there are no pending payments to be made to Aerolineas (aka they are no longer requesting payment). So I did - I was able to confirm it with the Aerolineas rep on the phone and was surprised that they gave me my seat assignment and also sent a reconfirmation via email with the assigned seats, so I was like great! But then I checked my credit company - so they did charge it (placed a hold) when I booked it, but I waited about a week - and it looks like they did not post the payment. I did get a confirmation email about the purchase, but at the same time, on the actual webpage where I just booked the Air Pass - i got an error message: "the issuance of this ticket could not be ease contact our office to complete the issuance thereof". Surprisingly this part was worry free, compared to what I've read on old blogs/forum posts. So once I've finalized my itinerary, I paid through their process (which goes through a third party - depends on what type of payment you use - Visa/Mastercard). ![]() The online booking was easy - so you just pick the minimum three flights that they have available on the dates you want. I took a risk and did 'purchase' the Air Pass through Aerolineas Argentinas (I already called a LATAM customer service rep - they do not longer offer a similar service). Hello everyone! I know there have been several posts on this in the past, but I wanted to check with other forumers what their recent experience has been? I have read through tripadvisor and other googled information, but so far it has been a mixed bag of information.
